Step 1: Go to design.
Step 2: Click "Create New" tab under "Option Set". To add another option click "Create New" button under "Option".
Step 3: To add family placement to selected option make sure that the "Add Placement To Active primary" box is checked.
Step 4: Navigate to "Family Placement" tab under "Tool controls" tab. All these categories can be added to design options.
Step 5: Add "family placement" objects. Objects will automatically be saved on to "option 1". Notice that these objects will only be viewable in "Option 1".
Note: Another way to add an object to selected option is to select it and click "Add To Option" button.
Step 6: Click "Create New" button to add another option.
Step 7: To change materials on different options (walls, flooring etc), simply click on the floor,and click "Add to option" button. Now that flooring will only exist in that specific option.
Step 8: User can either create a new option and add flooring to that option or click "Duplicate" button. Now these options each have a flooring.
Step 9: Select option 2 Change flooring to another material
Step 10: Select option 3 and change flooring to another material
Step 11: Now add "family placement" objects to any of the options. When you are satisfied with the option set. Repeat for remaining options.
Step 12: Now click box next to option name click each option and you can see what is on each option.
Note: Also user can always click option click "highlight" button to see what objects belong to that option.
